At the 24th German Prevention Congress there was a Poster Award for the first time.
A nine-member jury of experts, consisting of the DPT Programme Advisory Board, judged the 53 posters exhibited and awarded the three best ones:
• EU Project "Cutting Crime Impact" (DPT and LOBA - Cutting Crime Impact Consortium Partners)
• Demokratieförderung und Prävention (Lions-Quest - Hilfswerk der Deutschen Lions e.V.)
• Gender biased police Analyzing deviant police practices and female offenders' experiences (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem)
The jury evaluated the posters according to the following criteria: Overall graphic design, clarity of message, stringency of method, relevance for prevention work and innovative content.
We are very pleased to inform you that our poster "EU Project ´Cutting Crime Impact´” has reached the 1st place at the Poster Award of the 24th German Prevention Congress in Berlin.
